The AquaStorm system offers full flexibility to adapt to changing surfaces being cleaned/peened. Unlike other peening processes, the AquaStorm can be adjusted at will allowing the operator to switch from a powerful peening mode to a gentle cleaning mode, depending on surface requirements.
The AquaStorm system is suitable for industrial maintenance scenarios, such as: cleaning or removing concrete layers, removing paint layer by layer, completely removing coating according to specific cleanliness standards (such as white metal grade etc.), or easily removing the oxide layer on the surface of steel. The system is also highly efficient in sensitive areas, such as the petrochemical industry —— by wrapping the sandblasting medium in water, the system can effectively eliminate the risk of sparks or static electricity (such scenarios strictly prohibit the occurrence of sparks or static electricity).
On the ecological and economic levels, the AquaStorm system is also capable of reducing dust emissions by 95%. This means that no or only minimal enclosures are required, no dust extractors or negative pressure equipment, while convenient access to the entire structure being cleaned/sandblasted is maintained. In addition, operators do not have to wear air fed masks, which not only enhances work comfort but also improves the public perception of the working environment.
Another major advantage is that operators can fully control the equipment at the nozzle end of the sandblasting gun via remote control, thereby reducing labor requirements. The AquaStorm system is available in pneumatic and electric actuation versions.
